An interview with Gloria Bonder: “Latin America’s female scientists pack a big punch despite glass ceiling”

We share this interview with Gloria Bonder, coordinator of the Global Network of UNESCO Chairs on Gender, together with other leaders in the field such as Lidia Brito, UNESCO’s Director of Science for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Silvina Sonzogni, graduate in Genetics and PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.

The dialogue focused on the participation of women in scientific research fields, as well as the challenges regarding gender inequality in scientific and technological careers. They also questioned the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on these issues.
